Devin Strader made a mess on Instagram while attempting to justify how he treated Jenn Tran. Devin, who won season 21 of The Bachelorette, posted (and deleted) a 13 minute video to his Instagram. He shared his side of the breakup and included dozens of personal text messages between him and Jenn.

Devin re-posted the video after removing some of the more personal and sensitive texts. Instagram creator, @JustinTakesTheBach shared Devin’s video and made excellent points about it. Justin began, “Devin really woke up today and said, how can I make this worse?!
“After watching the video (which was painfully executed and put together to say the least), it’s very clear that Devin has absolutely no self awareness. Do some of the texts lean in his favor? Kind of. But, not really. He’s essentially upset that the full context of their relationship was not discussed at the finale even though he had every ability to do so since it was live, unedited TV. But the irony is that most of his texts do not have the best context either.”
Justin continued, “After being up for several hours, the video was taken down. One of the texts actually had sensitive information on it. He then posted a new video with that specific text edited out. Shaking my head.”

The now-deleted apology:
After the video blunder, Devin took to his Instagram story to share his intention. “I deeply am sorry for showing sensitive information from the bottom of my heart. That was not my intention. My only intention was to show the relationship from my perspective.”
Please note that Every. Single. Sentence. Devin wrote began with ‘I.’

- “I promise you that was a mistake.”
- “I tried to censor out all personal/sensitive information.”
- “I honestly missed this one and fucked up.”
- “I know there’s no words that can make this better, but I can ensure that there was no intent to show that text.”
- “I hope you can please find it in your hearts to forgive me.”
