In the City‘s Danielle Olivera took to Instagram to release photos of her baby boy, who was born ten weeks early.
“Welcome to the world, Aidan Santos Heavey 💙. Already making his own rules, Aidan arrived on June 21st at just 28 weeks (+5 days). Tiny, mighty and clearly not interested in our timeline.”
“He’s thriving at Stony Brook Medicine NICU and getting stronger every day while keeping Mom and Dad on our toes.” Danielle shared her gratitude to the staff. “To the incredible NICU team at Stony Brook, our family and friends, and every NICU mom who’s reached out with love, advice, and hope — thank you. You’ve carried us through more than you’ll ever know.”
“We can’t wait for the day we finally bring you home, Aidan,” Danielle concluded. “Until then, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.”
ICYMI, Danielle and Eoin Heavey announced the birth of their son on Father’s Day, Danielle’s boyfriend revealed that the In The City star began having contractions over the weekend.
“[Danielle] was nothing short of amazing,” Eoin began in his birth announcement.
“After getting contractions at 10 p.m. on Friday, going to the emergency room at 3 a.m. in Southampton, then getting transferred by ambulance to Stony Brook for a further 24 hours.”
Because baby Aidan arrived 10 weeks early, Eoin shared that he’ll be “heading to summer camp at the NICU” for the next couple of months.
