Cynthia Bailey reacts to Kenya Moore’s suspension following the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Kenya Moore has twirled a little too far, prompting Bravo to launch an investigation against the peach holder.
Going into the season, fans knew that Kenya revealed sexually explicit photos of newbie, Brit Eady. Now, we finally have context to what prompted Kenya to show her presentation during the Kenya Moore Hair Spa party.
Cynthia Bailey, along with many of Kenya’s costars, were uncomfortable with this display of pettiness. Cynthia even expressed her disapproval with Brooklyn’s mom as she was exiting the party.
However, during her Watch What Happens Live appearance, Cynthia opened up about how she felt surronding Kenya’s departure.
“I think most of the cast was shocked, we were totally shocked,” she said.
“We didn’t know what if anything was going to happen to be honest.”
The end of the episode featured a black screen that read: “Based on Kenya’s behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season.”
Cynthia’s POV:
“It was also sad because we didn’t want to lose Kenya, we didn’t, because she is a big player on the show.”
“All those good confessionals and stuff, all those shady, funny things. I felt like the network did such a good job and had such a great vision for season 16, putting this specific cast together.”
“It’s just so unfortunate that the fans didn’t get to see it play out with the cast, including Kenya,” she concluded.
Cynthia hit the nail on the head. We deserve to see how this would have played out — the fallout, the group’s new dynamic, etc. There was so much story left to tell and it’s a disservice we didn’t get to see it.
Especially since there’s no way production was not aware of Kenya’s plan to “expose” Brit following her “threat.”
