Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff got bad vibes from Annemarie Wiley’s now-estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley, years before his domestic violence arrest.
During her podcast, Humble Brag, Crystal revealed that she was uncomfortable around Marcellus, who has been accused of sex crimes by multiple women, including Annemarie.
“At my last reunion, in which it was her first season and only season, I had made sure to request that he was not allowed to be there.”
“I called production and I made sure. I was going to insist, but apparently they already asked him not to come.”
It’s no secret that Crystal and Annemarie didn’t get along. Annemarie, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist … not a physician, speculated that Sutton Stracke‘s esophagus issue was an eating disorder in disguise and claimed Crystal said it. Instead of letting the women handle it, Marcellus took to social media to launch an aggressive campaign against Crystal.
Crystal felt supported during this time. “We had a lot of people involved, like the production network. So they were very helpful with us, very protective. She noted that “no husbands allowed” at that reunion, making her feel more at ease.
“We were heading into a reunion in which she and I were going to be combative,” Crystal continued. “I can personally say that I have always been uncomfortable, but I feel very sad for the children.”
Marcellus was arrested for domestic battery on July 4 following an altercation with Annemarie at a hotel in Florida. Annemarie claimed that Marcellus threatened to “kill her” and “put his hands on her,” according to her witness statement.
Following his arrest, the court issued a no-contact order against Marcellus on July 5, barring him from contacting Annemarie. Marcellus maintains he’s innocent of any wrongdoing.
