Love Island USA Aftersun‘s co-hosts Ciara Miller and Teffi Pessoa shared a giggle after discussing Charleston’s bombshell Caleb McDaniel’s status in the villa.
“I feel it’s so Charleston-coded, though,” began Ciara. “Charleston loves a love triangle…” As Ciara continued to vent, the camera cut to Teffi who broke the fourth wall looking directly into the camera. “There’s trauma there.”
Ciara was stopped in her tracks. She joked, “Bitch, how dare you?! On national TV?!”
ICYMI, Bravo TV’s messy love triangle between Ciara, Lindsay, and Austen unfolded across Winter House and Summer House. Austen notoriously juggled his longtime friend/casual fling Lindsay with his budding romance with Ciara, leaving both women frustrated and sparking major drama.
On season 1 of Winter House, Lindsay shocked the group (including Ciara) by confessing she was in love with Austen. However, Austen ultimately pursued and began hooking up with Ciara.
The drama boiled over into season 6 of Summer House. Austen’s mixed signals and inability to commit to either woman created deep tension, leading to explosive confrontations among the trio.
In the end, Austen publicly admitted he handled the situation poorly. Ciara eventually stepped back from Austen, and over time, both women navigated their own separate romantic paths.
Since then, Bravo TV fans got to chew on another ‘Charleston Love Triangle.’ This time, it was between Southern Charm’s Craig Conover and Charley Mann and Southern Hospitality’s Justin Assad.
