Carlton Gebbia discussed the “horrific” way Kyle Richards treated her sister, Kim Richards, on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During an appearance on the Miss Understood podcast, Carlton shamed Kyle for exposing Kim’s alcoholism for reality tv fan consumption. The short-lived Bravolebrity branded Kyle “horrid” and “manipulative” for the way she treated her sister.
Kim Was Used By Kyle, According To Carlton:
Carlton didn’t hold back in her reasons why she despises Kyle. She commented on how she mistreated her own family for a storyline.
“What she did to her own sister, that she outed her on national TV and shamed her for alcoholism, it’s no surprise to me that Kim never recovered.”
Carlton continued, “I don’t know that if you’re in the public eye, and this was, again, however, many years ago, people weren’t so accepting of people having their own trauma and dealing with it the way that they could only deal with it. It surprised me that she would do something so horrific to her own sister. And I definitely believe she did that.”
“She used [Kim] for her own storyline, because she’s so bloody boring.” Carlton concluded, Kyle is “a horrid human being and completely just manipulative.”
Kim’s current status:
Just two months ago, Kim Richards was put on psychiatric hold. TMZ reported Kim’s family was forced to show her “tough love” after the child actress fell “off the wagon.”
According to law enforcement, Kim was placed on a psych hold earlier this month after getting a call from a concerned neighbor. Authorities showed up at one of the homes Kim’s sister, Kyle Richards, owns. A neighbor called with hopes of getting the former RHOBH star removed from the house. “The neighbors were concerned about Kim’s behavior in the past.”
Allegedly, “Kyle had let Kim live in the house but she moved out a while back.” But, Kim returned. “Law enforcement says Kyle told them she did not want Kim in the house, because the family had cut all contact off in hopes it would shake Kim and get her sober again.” Allegedly, cops explained to the Bravo TV star it was a civil matter and she’d have to file an eviction action.
