Former RHOBH Star Kim Richards Put On Psych Hold At The Request Of Her Family

With a heavy heart, we are reporting that Kim Richards was placed on a psychiatric hold.

Here’s what we know so far:

TMZ reported Kim’s family was forced to show her “tough love” after the child actress fell “off the wagon.” According to law enforcement, Kim was placed on a psych hold earlier this month after getting a call from a concerned neighbor.

Authorities showed up at one of the homes Kim’s sister, Kyle Richards, owns.  A neighbor called with hopes of getting the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star removed from the house. “The neighbors were concerned about Kim’s behavior in the past.”

“We’re told Kyle had let Kim live in the house but she moved out a while back.” But, on Wednesday, Kim returned. “Law enforcement says Kyle told them she did not want Kim in the house, because the family had cut all contact off in hopes it would shake Kim and get her sober again.” Allegedly, cops explained to the Bravo TV star it was a civil matter and she’d have to file an eviction action. But, Kim remains in the house.

This isnt’ Kim’s first visit to the psych unit…

Law enforcement told TMZ earlier this month “Kim was at a Hilton Hotel in the L.A. area and was incoherent.” Kyle was there, too. After the cops arrived, Kim was asked to leave, but she refused. “Kim was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold and taken by ambulance to a hospital.”

“Sources say when they showed up Wednesday night, Kyle told them Kim is “in deep trouble over her sobriety” Allegedly, Kim’s drinking has gotten so out of control, “the family is worried about her very survival.”
