Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas showed support for fellow performer Dylan Mulvaney, who recently made her Broadway debut in Six.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star had a night out in the city with her husband and Mark, her former Dancing with the Stars pro partner, who can be seen competing on season 4 of The Traitors US.
Broadway stars supporting Broadway stars:
Whitney shared a selfie from the audience of the Broadway show Six on her Instagram Stories. She added text over the photo, “Everyone get your tickets to @sixbroadway!!!! Dylan Mulvaney, you crushed it!!! Love you, boo.”
Dylan took to the stage for her first night as Anne Boleyn in Six, a pop musical, on Feb. 16. After the curtain closed on Monday night, Dylan took to Instagram, sharing a BTS clip. She captioned her post, “Hi Broadway🤘🏻❤️.”
Meanwhile on Broadway …
Whitney’s support for Dylan came after it was announced that she would be extending her run as Chicago’s “merry murderess.”
The breakout star of Hulu’s TSLOMW was previously scheduled to wrap her six-week limited run as Roxie Hart on March 15. However, after “an overwhelming demand,” the MomToker will remain with the production from March 23 through April 5.
In the weeks since her opening night, she’s driven attendance up at the Ambassador Theatre to nearly 100% capacity, according to data provided by the Broadway League. Weekly grosses have also increased, from $659,765 prior to her debut to $1,316,977 after her first week and $1,410,093 after her second.
On her opening night, Leavitt was supported by many figures from different areas of her life, including her husband, Conner, and fellow Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members.
