Brittany Cartwright is disappointed her collaboration with Rocco’s WeHo fell through but is uninterested in their offer to do pop-ups at her estranged husband, Jax Taylor‘s bar.
The Valley star didn’t even get a heads-up from Rocco’s that they wouldn’t be working together, she heard the news from Zack Wickham.
Britt’s bad news:
“This is something I wanted to talk about before [news] got out there. I think that it needs to come from me.”
“They sold Rocco’s which was what Brit’s was connected to. It’s all part of the same [franchise]. The partners straight up sold it – didn’t tell me they were going to sell it. They didn’t communicate with me whatsoever.”
“We had completely decorated everything [and] ordered everything – the wallpaper, the new seatings, chandeliers. We ordered everything on January 7th.”
FYI, Brittany told me in early December that they were beginning The Rocco’s WeHo transition early in 2025, so I can validate her plan was in place.
Brit was left in the dark, until Zack chimed in:
“I thought [Brit’s WeHo] was happening until this week.” Brittany admitted, “I am pretty upset about it because I wasn’t a part of the conversation. It’s their decision, they’re the owners, [but] I just would like to have known.”
“I found out because Zack [Wickham] started texting me being like, ‘Hey. It says Rocco’s is being sold. Zack is the reason I found out it was even being sold.”
“I was honored to be asked to do it and I was so excited about it,” which led to her disappointment. Brittany continued, “I talked about it so much. It was happening. Now that it got sold, I feel it made me look like a liar. That’s not the case whatsoever. So, I am pretty upset about it.”
Brittany received another offer from the Rocco’s team … to do pop-ups at Jax’s:
“They have offered me a couple of other things, but I’m not sure I want to. They were saying something about me taking over a couple of nights at Jax’s – changing the name. I’m just not interested in going into business with him.”
