Below Deck‘s Captain Lee Rosbach has navigated from Bravo TV to the Oxygen network for a true crime show set on the high seas. Bravo’s “boat daddy” divulged his adventures (and misadventures) at sea. He even recounted an incident where he found himself entangled in a drug smuggling operation.

About Deadly Waters with Captain Lee:

“The series exposes the wicked intentions of those who thought committing crimes on the water would shield them from justice. Below Deck’s beloved Capt. Lee Rosbach is an expert on demanding mega-yacht passengers and a rowdy, mischievous crew. But now he’s steering his ship toward a completely different group of people – criminals, who have committed some of the most chilling murders to have ever taken place on the water.”

“From dream vacations gone wrong, to alleged pirates of the Caribbean and everything in between, these true crime stories are unlike any that take place on land. Using his nautical expertise, Capt. Lee will unravel the secrets of remarkable homicide investigations on rivers, lakes and even the open seas, and will expose the murky, maritime clues that sunk the perps and ultimately led to their capture. Interviews with victims’ families, boating experts and law enforcement uncover new evidence and disturbing revelations, taking viewers on a dangerous and unforgettable voyage.”

In case you missed it:

In April 2023, Captain Lee announced he was not asked to return for the eleventh season of Below Deck. reported Capt. Lee’s “health issues” were the catalyst for getting replaced by Below Deck Adventure‘s Captain Kerry Titheradge on the popular reality show.

Captain Lee explained, “I did not quit. I did not retire. I was just not invited back. I guess I can see their point of view. They really couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone on how my health was.”

“I imagine they are going to see what happens with Season 11, with somebody new trying to take over for me, see how they do. If it’s too expensive for them, we’ll see what happens. If the numbers take a tank, would I go back? Yeah.”
