Boiling point:
Below Deck Adventure‘s Captain Kerry Titheradge approached Chef Jess Condy because of her negative interactions with the staff.
US Weekly posted a preview of BDA where Captain Kerry has a sit-down with Jess and tells her to get her sh!t together.
“We are in control of our own feelings and we are in control of how we express ourselves. It has got to stop,” expressed the Captain.
Workplace climate:
Captain Kerry didn’t hold back when he spoke of how Jess affects the rest of the staff. “The girls canโt be walking out feeling like they are walking on eggshells because it f*cks their job. Itโs a big spiral.”
“I donโt want any more negativity in the galley. Itโs bordering on intimidation what you are doing down there. I wonโt accept it,” he continued.
“The way you are talking to the other staff is unacceptable. People are scared to go in the galley.”
Jess is “at her worst when sheโs needed the most,” explained Captain Kerry in a confessional. “I donโt care if we have one day left, I canโt keep being a sounding board to this f*cking ongoing bitching.”
Jess’s future:
The yacht chef isn’t opposed to a career pivot.
“Maybe I have come to the end of my yachting experience because this sure as hell does not bring me joy anymore.”
“My rule is, ‘If itโs not a f*ck yes than it is a hell no.’ Like itโs made it very apparent to me that this is not where I need to be. โฆ I canโt do that though. I canโt do anything else. I am just over it.”
