Ariana Madix is almost forty, and she’s never felt more herself.
The Bravo star turned Broadway star, turned Love Island Host was the cover girl for People’s StyleWatch.
The blonde beauty gives her final thoughts on Scandoval (how she’s never once used the word), and what’s next for her.
ICYMI: Cameras are back up in West Hollywood as Vanderpump Rules has begun filming with a completely rebooted cast.
The reboot came as a result of the former cast having no more story left to tell.
“I don’t think I was ever going to go back to Vanderpump Rules,” Ariana dished to the Publication.

“That’s the first time I’ve ever said that publicly, but I was never going to.”
Season 11 concluded with Ariana and co. leaving the finale party earlier than expected. This moment seemed indicative of the future of the show — she was done, and she was going out on her own terms.
“It just didn’t feel right. Not in any sort of rude way, not in a professional, ‘We don’t need this,’ not in a, ‘I’m too good for this’, but it just didn’t feel right,” she explains.
“If I did go back, 1 wouldn’t have been able to do the job that would make a good show. And so it just wasn’t going to make sense, the story didn’t make sense.”
The VPR alum first appeared on the hit series during season two.
However, she admits she was never made for the reality world.
“I don’t think l’ve ever been what makes ‘a good reality star’. I think in some ways that’s what has made me a good reality star. But that being said, I think that a lot of times I got in my head.”
“I’ve also learned that maybe that’s not the best setting for me, and it’s not a setting that really allows me to be myself. And when you’re not being yourself, you get yourself into situations where you’re saying or doing things that you don’t really back or believe in,” Ariana said.
The sandwich shop owner said that many people look at her and assume she’s gotten to this point over night.
To the contrary.
She’s had the same manager for 15 years, prior to her appearing on Vanderpump Rules.
40 and flirty and thriving
“I feel – at almost 40 – like my true self,” she says. “I’m surrounded by such amazing friends and family. It feels really good to be in a position where I’m able to do what I love and make a living doing it. Being in this business for many, many years, it’s taken a long time to get to that point, and I feel really lucky.”
I know Ariana is a polarizing person but I will forever have nothing but good things to say about her.
When I went to see Chicago on Broadway, Ariana took time with every single person that came to stage door. From experience, not everyone does that.
“Scandoval” (sorry Ariana) might have propelled her faster, but she is the one working hard behind the scenes to live her dreams.
We all deserve that.
