Ariana Biermann revealed that her mom, Kim Zolciak, tricked her into getting her freckles removed with a laser when she was only 14 years old.
In a GRWM video on TikTok, the Next Gen NYC star revealed she wears faux freckles to achieve the natural look she had as a young teenager.
While I understand *freckles* may sound trivial, I think there is a bigger conversation to be had about Kim’s choices as a mom.
Ariana loved her freckles:
Fans of the early seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta may recall Ariana’s natural look, which featured freckles.
“Whenever I do my makeup, I always put on freckles. It always makes me think that I wouldn’t be putting on these freckles had my mother not gotten rid of my freckles when I was fourteen.”
“My mom sent me to get a facial [with laser] and my friend’s like, ‘Girl, where are your freckles going?'” Ariana didn’t know her mom’s plan.
Kim told the aesthetician that Ariana “didn’t like” her freckles and wanted them removed. “What?! I love my freckles.”
Recently, Kim got a call from Ariana, who told her she was applying her faux freckles. Her mom “started laughing. ‘You’re a jackass.'”
Arirana added, “Now, I add them to my face because I don’t have them anymore because someone removed them. I didn’t want them removed. Nobody said [I didn’t like my freckles.] I’m constantly stamping them on to make them look like what mine looked like growing up.”
“Mom. You’re a jackass for that. I love you, but insane.”

Never forget:
Ariana sister, Brielle, was recently on Botched alongside Kim to re-evaluate the cosmetic work they’ve undergone. According to Brielle, it was her mom who took her to get lip injections for the first time.
She told Dr. Terry Dubrow, “I graduated high school. The second I graduated, my mom took me to LA and I got my lips done by the doctor that everybody was getting their lips done at the time.”
Brielle later got filler under her eyes. She’s unhappy with the results, noting that one side is puffier than the other.
Kim told Dr. Terry that she warned her daughter not to start getting work done. But, Brielle said that her mom normalized cosmetic procedures growing up.
