Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy have officially gone their separate ways.
The Next Gen NYC breakout star announced the split on Instagram Stories on October 14, revealing that she and the Zaxby’s chicken heir are dunzo.
“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Ariana began. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now.”
She wrapped up her message by thanking fans for their support, writing:
“We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s okay. Love you all.”
Fans of Next Gen NYC were first introduced to Hudson during Season 1 as Ariana’s on-again, off-again boyfriend.
The couple reconnected after knowing each other since childhood, and the show followed their move to New York City — complete with a $10,000-a-month apartment hunt and their new life as young city transplants.
Since filming wrapped, the couple revealed they had moved again.
However, Ariana’s ongoing role as financial support for her mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, caused visible strain between her and Hudson — tension that became one of the show’s storylines.
Kim, of course, publicly rooted for the pair to tie the knot (even bringing it up on Watch What Happens Live).
So, naturally, we can’t help but wonder… did Mama Kim have anything to do with this split?
Cameras are reportedly set to roll again soon for Next Gen NYC Season 2.
So, rest assured the fallout from this breakup will definitely play out on screen.
