Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson discussed her family’s relationship with reality TV while promoting Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Vicki revealed that Andy Cohen reached out to her daughter, Briana Culberson, to do a cameo with her mom. But Briana “wants nothing to do with” RHOC.
Vicki reflected on when Briana appeared on the flagship Housewives franchise. “Her husband just got back from the Marine Corps, six tours overseas,” began Vicki. “He’s got some PTSD. They really showed him in a bad light.”
Briana told Vicki, ‘Mom, I want nothing to do with [Bravo].’ I’m like, ‘Can you do a cameo?'” negotiated Vicki. “Can you come on for a little bit?”
Vicki alleged that Andy Cohen “called [Briana] for this season and she was like, ‘Please lose my number.’” The OG of the OC noted, “What the show did to their family was not good.” Briana married husband Ryan Culberson in 2011, and he has appeared various times on RHOC over the years.
Last summer, Briana spoke out on Instagram regarding rumors of her marriage. “Must’ve been a slow gossip week, to go after a super duper boring daughter of a housewife-who hasn’t been on TV for 9 years. Let me go and set me freee!”
