Andy Cohen gave his thoughts on Bravolebs not watching back the season before sitting down to hash it all out.
Bravo’s frontman answered a few fan-submitted questions during a Sunday night Threads Q&A.
One of the questions spotlighted the current hot topic of Bravolebs not showing up properly dialed into the drama of the season.
Most recently, during The Valley’s season 3 reunion, Luke Broderick admitted to not watching back those postpartum moments with Kristen Doute.
His excuse was he “lived it” and therefore didn’t need to relive it months later.
“It’s not my preference,” Andy began his response on Aug. 9.
“But I feel like showing up at the reunion is hard when you’ve had a terrible season.”
He continued that he “gives them credit” for “facing the music.”
Luke isn’t the only Bravoleb in recent times to admit to not watching the messy moments back.
Amanda Batula claimed she didn’t watch season 10 of Summer House, and of course, Ariana Madix famously gave season 11 of Vanderpump Rules none of her energy.
That’s my opinion!
As someone whose career entails a certain level of putting oneself out there, the visceral reaction to hearing or seeing yourself on screen is not lost on me.
However, it is my job.
Just as showing up to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly from the season is theirs.
Not watching the season back only gives you one side of the story — yours. You miss out on how you’re edited, how your costars feel, and what they were filming as well.
Housewives usually don’t get asked back if they don’t show up to film the reunion.
But I’d argue that not being properly prepared isn’t fully showing up either.
But as Tamra Judge once said, that’s my opinion!
