Amanda Batula did not come to the Summer House Season 10 reunion fully caught up.
On Peacock’s extended and uncensored version of Part 3, the Summer House star admitted she had not watched the current season before filming the reunion.
“I haven’t been watching the show, but I watched past seasons,” Amanda revealed. “I have not watched this.”
Unsurprisingly, the cast appeared shocked by Amanda’s revelation, especially considering how much of the season seemed to foreshadow her eventual romance with West Wilson.
Ciara Miller suggested Amanda’s decision not to watch reflected a lack of care toward the situation.
However, Amanda explained that avoiding the episodes was a way to protect her mental health.
“When I watch the episodes, I can already pinpoint everything that everyone is going to say about me online,” Amanda said.
“And that has been very difficult for me to deal with.”
She added that the online discourse is the primary reason she stopped watching.
“I’ve stopped watching the episodes because I cannot handle the idea of thinking about all the nasty sh-t people are going to say [online] about me afterwards. I had to stop watching them.”
