Bravo TV executive Andy Cohen told his Andy Cohen Live listeners that he didn’t want to see Real Housewives of Miami get put ‘on pause,’ despite getting heat for it from fans.
Setting the record straight:
“I did wanna say … Housewives of Miami,” began Andy, “There’s so much [news].” Regarding the Housewives, “I get the credit, and I get the blame. And I will say, this was not my decision.”
“And by the way, look, I’m an EP [executive producer] on all these shows. If it were up to me, they would be rolling all the time and on. I mean, better for me.”
John Hill, Andy’s co-host, pointed out that the show is on pause … not canceled. “Exactly, thank you, John,” he replied.
“Frankly, I’m happy that people are so passionate about it, and I hope they tell their friends to watch. This is a ratings game after all.”
The RHOM ladies entered the chat:
“Guys RHOM is not canceled,” Lisa Hochstein wrote on Threads.
“Sure, it’s paused temporarily, but there are a number of important factors about why this decision was made.”
“But MIAMI isn’t going anywhere.”
Alexia Nepola took to Instagram to share a message to RHOM fans. “As a proud Latina, being part of a platform like RHOM on Bravo has always meant more to me than just reality television—it’s meant visibility, representation, and having a voice.”
“Hearing that the show is currently on pause is disheartening. At the same time, I truly believe that a pause can create space for something even greater.”
