Lisa Hochstein isn’t accepting her fate so easily.
The Real Housewives of Miami star responded to the recent “pause” news to make sure fans understand one thing — the show is not cancelled.
“Guys RHOM is not cancelled,” Lisa wrote on Threads.
“Sure, it’s paused temporarily, but there are a number of important factors about why this decision was made.”
ICYMI: Variety reported that Bravo has decided to hit pause on RHOM due to low ratings.
There has been no official announcement from Bravo outside of the source speaking to the publication.
Andy Cohen also replied to a fan on Threads who said RHOM will “be back,” adding fuel to the idea that this may be more of a reset than a goodbye.
“Yes, there will be changes,” Lisa continued. “But Miami isn’t going anywhere.”
Since the news broke, Alexia Nepola and Stephanie Shojaee have also spoken out.
Alexia shared in part:
“Over 15 years ago, I signed on to something I couldn’t have fully understood at the time. What began as a television show became such a meaningful part of my life, one I chose to share openly through every high and every lesson along the way.”
Stephanie added:
“I’m disappointed, because strong Latina voices deserve a spotlight that’s still lacking. But Miami always finds its way back. For now, I’ll be keeping up with everyone’s crazy lives. I love the girls, and meeting them will always be the best part of RHOM.”
I for one am bummed RHOM is on hiatus. Hopefully this is just a goodbye for now, not forever.
