A baby is on the way for Andrea and his wife, Lexi!
The In The City stars shared the exciting news in a PEOPLE exclusive on Tuesday, June 16.
“A new chapter begins,” the Summer House alum captioned the announcement alongside photos showing off Lexi’s growing baby bump.
The couple, who have been married for two years, decided last fall it was time to expand their family.
“Last fall, we decided it was time to start trying for a family, something we had always hoped for,” Lexi exclusively tells PEOPLE.
“Over Christmas, while we were spending time with family, I realized my period was a few days late and had a feeling I might be pregnant.”
Lexi revealed she took a pregnancy test on her own to avoid getting their hopes up.
“When it came back positive, I immediately went to find Andrea,” she continues.
“It was one of those moments you wish you could bottle up forever. We were completely stunned in the best way and filled with gratitude.”
Lexi says her pregnancy has been relatively smooth so far, though she experienced some nausea during her first trimester.
And there’s even more exciting news — the couple is expecting a baby girl, due in September!
ICYMI: Danielle Olivera was the first In The City cast member to announce she was expecting.
On May 15, Danielle and her boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, revealed they are preparing to welcome their first child.
Shortly after, Yvonne Najor and her husband, Nick Barber, shared that they are expecting their first baby in August.
Neither Danielle nor Yvonne has publicly revealed the sex of their respective babies.
All I know is Andrea and Lexi’s baby girl already hit the genetic lottery!
