Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder labeled Summer House‘s Amanda Batula a ‘pick-me’ for hooking up with West Wilson after her split from Kyle Cooke, despite her close friendship with Ciara Miller.
During her podcast, Stassi with Tay, Lisa Vanderpump’s second-in-command at Vanderpump Villa, gave her POV on Bravo’s latest scandal.
Stassi Says:
“Here’s the thing,” began the reality TV star/influencer. “OK. I was friends with Amanda. I haven’t seen her in a very long time, but I’ve always had a good relationship with her.”
Chatting about Scamanda felt “weird to talk about” because she and Amanda “have been friendly for so many years.” However, she didn’t hesitate to say that the Summer House star is “so wrong” in this situation.
“I can’t defend her. It’s indefensible and it’s disappointing,” explained Stassi. Though, she clarified that the scandal doesn’t “define [Amanda] as a human being.” Still, “it’s looking like she acts this way with men everywhere. It’s very pick-me.”
According to Stassi, Amanda “hangs on dudes” even if the men in question are in a relationship. “She needs male attention really badly. She needs validation, and I think that is what led her to West.”
Stassi noted that “it does suck to see this all come down on Amanda,” and not on West. “The bigger betrayal is the friendship.” She called out Wilson for being a “loser” and said that Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, “will be fine.” However, she said she’s most concerned for Ciara.
She also compared the situation to the infamous Scandoval and season 2 of VPR when her then-best friend Kristen Doute slept with her then-on-again, off-again, boyfriend Jax Taylor.
