Congratulations to Michael ‘Mykol’ Ilesanmi, who has officially divorced his 90 Day Fiancé counterpart, Angela Deem.
TMZ obtained court docs that confirmed that Angela and Mykol’s settlement agreement took place today.
Mykol’s big news!
In a video shared Tuesday, Michael says, “Yo, fam! Finally, I’m divorced. This is the paperwork. That’s the courthouse.”
“I want to say a big thank you to everyone for their love and support. It hasn’t been an easy journey. To everybody, God bless you all. I’m officially divorced. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, thank you. Single life, here I come!”
Mykol’s caption boasts, Finally official — divorced. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. I appreciate you all. 🙏 New chapter begins.”
How they got here:
The now-divorced couple reportedly wed on January 27, 2020, in Nigeria. After years of a long-distance relationship, Mykol made it to America in December of 2023.
They subsequently lived in the U.S. at Angela’s home in Georgia.
After seven years together, Mykol left Angela’s home in Georgia on February 23, 2024, stating he feared for his life after admitting to cheating on her. He claimed, “I can’t just take it anymore.”
Angela initially sought an annulment, claiming that immediately upon landing in the U.S., Mykol focused on obtaining his license and green card. That led her to believe the entire relationship was pre-planned fraud.
But, Mykol (who was the victim of Angela’s abuse) counter-filed for divorce and sought equitable division of assets.
Mykol cited an “irretrievably broken” marriage.
