Yvie Oddly is grateful for her time/exposure on RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars; however, she has issues with the “rich old gays” profiting from a “fake competition.”

The lip-sync assassin called out the behind-the-scenes team that is profiting from drag queens and culture wars.

The tweets:

The RPDR season 11 winner took to social media to share her frustrations with the franchise.

Yvie, who was a regular in RuPaul’s Drag Race Live show in Las Vegas, reminded her followers that the show’s magic comes from its talent.

The RPDRAS7 competitor called the production team out for their avarice.

Yvie didn’t stop there. “They fuck with real people’s lives, career opportunities, and health. They drive themselves home in their luxury cars when their contestants are sleep-deprived, depressed, and DRASTICALLY underpaid for their contributions to the cultural phenomenon.”

Yvie made it clear to her followers that “All the things we love: the looks, the catchphrases, the memes, the drama—it all comes from the queens,” not the suits profiting from the show.

Plot twist:

Considering how financially focused the producers of Drag Race are, they didn’t have a sense of urgency paying Yvie the $100k she earned winning season 11.

Shout out to our anti-capitalism queen for not paying for Elon Musk’s blue check on Twitter. Yvie chose to add the phrase ‘blue checkmark’ in parenthesis after her name. We stan!
