Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Erika ‘Jayne’ Girardi‘s fixation with matchmaking is still going strong … this time suggesting John Mellencamp date Dorit Kemsley.
On the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, the pay-for-play pop star encouraged the rock star ask out the newly single RHOBH costar to his daughter, Teddi Mellencamp.
Erika’s on a mission:
“John should get with Dorit. That’s what [should happen].”
There’s an invisible string tying Dorit to John Mellencamp, and that’s the stale stench of cigarette smoke. Teddi began, “He rarely lets me ride on his plane, and when he does, it’s filled” with ciggy smoke.
Erika pointed out John and Dorit “both smoke.” Teddi confirmed they even smoke the same brand of cigarettes. “They could smoke American Spirits [cigarettes], fly around in the [private] plane, talk each other’s ears off.”
Erika was adamant about hooking Dorit up with John Mellencamp. “That’s what we need to do. We need to get your father and Dorit together. This might be a good idea.”
John Mellencamp is marked safe from Dorit:
Teddi threw shade at Dorit’s standards. She worried her father’s private plane might not be “big enough” for Dorit. The self-proclaimed fashionista is notoriously picky about her air travel options, as per Teddi, a fellow member of Fox Force Five.
Teddi noted that her dad not drinking might affect Dorit’s carcass out lifestyle. “He never drank. It’s not like he’s a recovering alcoholic, he’s just not a drinker.”
“In my opinion, girls drink, and they get super chatty. He doesn’t like it.”
Teddi finally mentioned her dad has dated filmmaker Kristin Kehrberg since 2023. “Kristin, we love you, but if it doesn’t work out, we’ve got Dorit here in the corner.”
“I’m so sorry! I didn’t know,” Erika apologized.
