Summer House star Paige DeSorbo is “excited” to be single this summer.
In an interview with US Weekly, Paige shared how glad she is to be going into the house with new energy this year.
Summer should be fun!
Everyone except Paige’s ex, Craig Conover, saw that the New York Times best-selling author could see she was unhappy last summer. Paige is ready for a change of pace.
“I haven’t been single for a summer in a while, but I’m also excited too because I’ve never been single in my 30s. I feel like it is just drastically different than your 20s,” she reasoned.
The Giggly Squad host noted that one of the biggest differences between her 20s and 30s is that she “can’t go to a club until 1 a.m.” anymore. “I’ll spontaneously combust,” quipped the self-proclaimed bed bug.
“Socializing single is very different in your 30s, but it’s very chic. It’s like, ‘Sorry, I have a business dinner. Can’t come on a date.’ I love saying that.”
Paige’s dating life:
After confirming she hasn’t “been really dating,” Paige doesn’t have any “disaster” date stories. This time around, she is looking for different things now. “I don’t care if he can go out and stay out and hang out with my friends. I’d actually prefer if he didn’t want to do that.”
“I’m just looking for someone that meshes easily with my life, and being a reality TV person isn’t the easiest thing.” Having “some sort of love for reality TV” would be fun, however, “I don’t think [them] being on it is what I need,” explained Paige.
Paige wants to find a “nice person” who loves his mom and wants to “call her occasionally.” While she’s “not running resumes” for eligible bachelors, “if someone sends theirs in,” Paige promised to “take a look.”
