Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has allegedly closed production for her beauty line, Sōl People.
“The reality star is rebranding her beauty business for the third time in four years,” according to reports from The US Sun.
Whitney is (allegedly) rebranding:
On season 2 of RHOSLC, Whitney launched a natural skincare company, Wild Rose Beauty. Wild Rose Beauty was a clean skincare line … which was a rebranding of Iris + Beau.
A source spilled, “Whitney shut down Wild Rose Beauty last year, basically without telling anyone or announcing anything official.”
“They lost a fortune. The loss was well into the six-figure range, especially since they had just rebranded Wild Rose Beauty, which they initially invested a lot of money into.”
Wild Rose Beauty products can be found on the Sōl People website while still in their original packaging. In other words, new labels for the skincare items have not yet been produced.
Despite making the transition to Sōl People in late 2024, Whitney has not posted about the new career move on her social media pages. According to the insider, the mother-of-two hasn’t been public about her latest rebrand because “quite frankly, it’s not going well.”
“There’s still a lot she’s figuring out, and on top of that, things are not selling.” The insider concluded, “There’s a lot of financial problems at play for it to even be an official rebrand … which it’s not yet.”
This isn’t the first bad press Whitney’s business has received:
Whitney and her partner, Ashlee Headlee, were the subjects of a lengthy TikTok series posted by a former employee, Carly Esquerra about getting scammed by the company.
The TikTok began with young mothers who planned a ‘work trip’ with Whitney’s company. It was canceled without a refund. “I feel like Whitney Rose is being drug along, but she’s in on all the knowledge.”
