About Just in Time:
The show is a jukebox bio-musical about legendary 1950s and ’60s singer Bobby Darin.
The musical uses a unique framing device, with its star breaking the fourth wall to address the audience before flashing back through Darin’s rapid rise from a sickly childhood to teen idol, his high-profile romances, and his intense drive fueled by a weak heart.
ICYMI: Whitney’s time as Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical smashed box office records, shattering the 29-year-old revival’s all-time weekly gross record with $1,457,931 in mid-March 2026.
The Mormon Wives star teased earlier this summer that she wasn’t planning on leaving Broadway just yet…and it seems this new opportunity came just in time!
