Vanna White shared her plans for her future on Wheel of Fortune just ahead of her 45th anniversary on the show.
R, S, T, L, N, E:
The 68-year-old television icon – who started on WoF in 1982 when she was in her twenties – told E! News she is still content with working on the show. “At this point, I’m happy with my job.”
“I’m continuing on Wheel, and we will take one year at a time and go from there.” Previously, Vanna signed a two-year contract extension at the time of Pat Sajak’s exit.
Two years later, Vanna said she would only leave if another perfect opportunity came along. “You never know what’s around the corner. You just don’t.”
“Something might come to me that I want to be involved in,’ she told the outlet. ‘I just take one day at a time.”
We’d like to solve the puzzle:
The secret to Vanna’s happy life is her work. “I feel comfortable here [at WoF]. It’s great to see people win every single day and make them happy. There’s not a better job.”
The letter-flipping bombshell (at any/every age) noted, “I don’t think there’s anything else on TV I would rather do after being on Wheel for so long.”
“Honestly, I think I wanna just play golf when I retire.”
Re: Ryan …
After the legendary host Pat Sajak retired and Seacrest stepped in, Vanna shared thoughts about his replacement. “I’ve known Ryan for over 20 years, but I’ve never worked with him until last year. He has great energy, and he wants to do a great job.”
“When he first started, he goes, ‘Look, I can never replace Pat Sajak. I’m just going to go in and do the best job I can. And that’s what he’s done.”
