Southern Charm‘s Thomas Ravenel wants you to know that his ex, Kathryn Dennis is not the “wonderful mom” people think she is. Additionally, he wants Bravo TV fans to reach out to him so he can take their commentary to the court system.
For the record, Thomas has a habit of going on social media rants, such as this, every time a new Southern Charm is about to drop.
Thomas’s scroll of complaints:
The disgraced politician began, “Everyone thinks that I’m a horrible person and that Kathryn Dennis is a wonderful mom.”
Thomas also lamented that people think he “got sole custody because [he] paid off the judges.” Also, he brought up fan theories that “the family court system is corrupt.”
This is when Thomas summoned the help of Southern Charm fans. “If you truly believe these lies, please comment below so I can show the judge and get the records unsealed so everyone can see the truth.”

Kathryn and Thomas’s ugly (and ongoing) custody battle:
- 2016 -Kathryn lost custody after testing positive for marijuana and entered rehab
- 2018 – Kathryn filed for primary custody after T. Rav was arrested for assault and battery
- 2019 – The couple agreed to joint custody. Thomas having primary custody and Kathryn having physical custody 36% of the time
- 2021 – Thomas’s lawyer confirmed that Kathryn lost temporary custody and was granted supervised weekend visitation
- 2023 – T. Rav gained full custody of the children

Earlier this year, former Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis was arrested for DUI and driving with an open container. TMZ reported, “Cops in Goose Creek, SC booked the former Southern Charm star. They said she was involved in a 3-car collision.”
The tabloid obtained legal docs. “A responding officer described Kathryn’s alleged state at the accident scene as appearing impaired with ‘glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her person.’”
