Tarek El Moussa was cited for battery after he allegedly knocked a man out in Las Vegas. “The victim allegedly got pulverized,” according to TMZ.
New details:
According to a Las Vegas Metropolitan PD report, “The Flip or Flop star got into a knock-down, drag-out fight with the man near a roulette table at The Palazzo at the Venetian hotel. It was all caught on surveillance video.”
The report states that a man bumped into Tarek’s dad’s chair at the roulette table. The HGTV star’s dad “allegedly got upset and turned around to stare at the man before going back to his game.”
Police say the man patted the right shoulder of Tarek’s dad and said something to him, activating Tarek.” Quickly, he “sprang to his feet and charged at the man, pushing him back before the two got into “fighting stance.”
Cops reported “the man went for Tarek’s legs to try to take him down. But, El Moussa kneed him to the floor. Tarek then allegedly mounted the man’s back and pummeled him with three blows to the head. After that, Tarek got up and walked away.”
Officers responded to a call of an “assault/battery” and spoke with the victim, who suffered injuries — namely purple and red bruises under the right eye and a cut on the bridge of his nose.
The alleged victim initially told cops a different story from what they saw in the surveillance video. The victim also told cops he wanted to press charges, so we’ll see where that goes.
Police also interviewed Tarek, who said he confronted the victim to “protect his Dad due to him having back problems.” Allegedly, “Tarek then clammed up after police read him his Miranda rights.”
Tarek was not arrested, but he received a citation for battery.

Witnesses told TMZ that they saw Tarek deliver a knee to the man’s head, which knocked him out cold.
Another eyewitness told the tabloid that the incident was “bad.” The guy looked “seriously hurt,” but the alleged victim reportedly “refused medical attention.”
A source told Page Six that Tarek was “protecting his elderly father” after the man allegedly got out of line with him.
Cops arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. and took a crime report. Though they declined to arrest Tarek, he was cited for battery.

Tarek El Moussa was in a physical fight with an unknown man while visiting Las Vegas with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, and their parents.
What happened in Vegas, didn’t stay in Vegas:
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the fight to US Weekly. “The fight occurred at the Palazzo at the Venetian Resort on Thursday, June 5. Authorities responded to a battery incident after receiving a call at 11:06 p.m. local time.”
Witnesses claimed Tarek knocked the other man out after allegedly kneeing him in the head, per reports from TMZ. Authorities opted to give Tarek a citation instead of detaining him.
What went down:
A source close to The Flip Off star later said that Tarek was protecting his elderly father when the fight broke out.
Once the police were on scene, both men involved reportedly refused medical treatment.
Despite the scuffle, Tarek, Heather, and their parents appeared to have a great time in Sin City for Tarek’s speaking event.
