Stassi Schroeder was Kristin Cavallari’s first guest to appear on her new solo podcast, “Just Being Honest.” The pair compared and contrasted their reality TV experiences, and what it’s like dating in the industry.

Stassi opened up about her Vanderpump Rules origin story – to include how her former partner, Jax Taylor, landed the role on the Bravo franchise.
“I got him a job at SUR so that he could be on the show,” Stassi began.
“We were living together, and I was like ‘I’m going out for this show at SUR, you’d be perfect for it.'”
She jokingly added that she “couldn’t do the show without him.”
Stassi and Jax had a “toxic” relationship throughout the first season of Vanderpump Rules. The pair ultimately ended things due to Jax’s inability to remain faithful.
Although there is no love lost between either party, Stassi doesn’t blame the “Bravo TV Curse” for breaking them up.
“Reality TV forces you to address issues you aren’t talking about,” Stassi said.
“I’m not going to blame the reality show for the demise of our relationship,” Schroder concludes.
Reality tv isn’t all bad for those wanting to fill up their love tank!
Because of her former co-stars Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute, Stassi met and married her husband, Beau Clark.
The couple legally tied-the-knot during a small backyard ceremony in 2020, but couldn’t have the destination wedding they dreamed of due to COVID-19.

However, just 2 years later, Stassi and Beau said “I do” in Rome, Italy, surrounded by close friends and family.
