Stacey Rusch continues to deny allegations that she paid her “best friend” Anthony ‘TJ’ Jones to appear on the Real Housewives of Potomac.
The rumor originally came out during part 3 of the Potomac reunion.
Eddie Osefo FaceTimed TJ and asked why he was a no show at the reunion. TJ dropped a bomb that not only was he not invited, but he also is owed money from Stacey for being her “love interest.”
Stacey denied the insinuation during the reunion and continued to deny the claim during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Arabella’s mom revealed she immediately called TJ upon wrapping the reunion.
“He was very remorseful, he was very emotional. It was a hard call to have,” Stacey said on WWHL.
The Potomac housewife says he was incredibly disrespectful and unchristian within their “relationship.”
“I was looking for love, and he was in love with being in front of the camera.”
Fans quickly noted the similarities between Stacey and TJ and Walter and Kenya.
Inauthentic relationships are so easy to sniff out, especially for Bravo historians who have witnessed many concocted storylines for the sake of the show.
And yet — Stacey assures her cast and viewers that her and TJ were real.
As for receipts, the charity lover isn’t worried about them.
“I’m not really worried about that,” she admits. “I live in my truth.”
“I didn’t pay him. I don’t have to pay anybody. I wish you could see my DMs. I’m in a great place.”
Andy Cohen, alongside Stacey’s co-guest Dr.Simone, remained skeptical of Stacey’s rebuttal. I have to say, I am too.
Her demeanor surrounding the allegation, and her refusal to call TJ at the reunion is suspicious.
