Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador was pulled over by police while still on probation for driving under the influence.
US Weekly reported, “The Bravo star had an encounter with police on May 21 while in Orange County, California.” Thankfully, Shannon was not intoxicated this time.
Legal deets:
Shannon was cited for driving “while operating a handheld wireless telephone or electronic wireless communication device,” a.k.a. using a phone while driving.
The RHOC personality was cited and released. Shannon has until July 11 to pay the fine. The fee is $20 for a first-time offender and $50 for an additional offense. The ticket is not a moving violation and does not add any points to your record on the first offense.
Shannon is currently on criminal probation stemming from her September 2023 arrest for an alleged DUI and hit-and-run. Her probation is set to end in November 2026.
Shannon’s infamous DUI:
In October 2023, Shannon was arrested for DUI. Her blood alcohol level was 3x the legal limit when she fled the scene of a hit-and-run.
The Orange County District Attorney charged Shannon with one count of Driving Under the Influence, one count for driving with a blood alcohol count higher than 0.08% or more, and one count of hit-and-run with property damage.
TMZ.com reported the Bravolebrity‘s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Shannon “blew a 0.24% BAC after the crash.”
At the time, Shannon assured her followers she’s focusing on “getting healthy.” She’s been spending extra time with her beloved dog, Archie, who was in the car when she hit the Newport house and fled the scene of the crime since her girls all moved out of the house.
