Married at First Sight personality Ryan De Nino has died at age 40, according to a tribute shared by his sister, Melissa De Nino.
Ryan, who appeared on season 2 of MAFS, was remembered as funny, loyal and big-hearted in a social media post paired with photos of him with his family. “He was so damn funny and witty. Ryan was fiercely loyal to those he loved. He had a huge heart, always,” penned his sister in a message obtained by TMZ.
Melissa also reflected on the unique bond between siblings and the difficulty of losing someone who had been part of her life from the beginning. “I can’t explain what it’s like to lose a sibling. Someone who’s been there from the beginning and shares the same memories.”
Despite whatever challenges they may have faced throughout the years, Melissa said her love for her brother never wavered. “No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely. Life as I know it will never be the same,” she wrote.
Ryan appeared on the New York City-set second season of Married at First Sight in 2015, and he was matched with Jessica Castro by the show’s experts. The pair chose to remain married on “Decision Day,” but their relationship ultimately came to an end following a contentious breakup later that year.
