The rumors regarding Chris Bassett‘s alleged infidelity and scandal have been debunked by the woman who started the lies.
@AyannaWilliams22 came forward to retract the statement she made up about Candiace Dillard Bassett‘s husband.
“I lied,” admitted Ayanna of her tryst with the Real Housewives of Potomac husband.
“I never met Chris Bassett. I never talked to him. I made the whole thing up.”
“I’m sorry that my actions hurt people.”
Now that the truth made public, we know Candiace is bathing in her glory while hitting high notes … and we love her for it.

“He told you he loved you,” asked Tasha K.
“Yes. Yes, ma’am,” revealed Ayanna before admitting she had the abortion “12 weeks” ago.
“If I would have had that baby, it would have been a whole situation. If I had his baby, [Candiace] couldn’t be on the show, and their whole situation … they’d have to get rid of it.”
According to Chris’s alleged mistress, their marriage is a hoax.

After acknowledging the irony of Candiace being a ‘Real‘ Housewife – “All you do is lie about your storyline” – Chris’s alleged side piece continued to slam the Drive Back singer.
“He’s with a horrible woman and he’s trying to please her cuz she wants to have a storyline and she wants to be on this show.”
Instagram’s @Philly.Diva reminded her followers that Candiace “alluded to this being a lie planted by her cast mates” at BravoCon 2023.
