Real Housewives of Memoirs

There’s nothing that Real Housewives enjoy talking about more than themselves, so it’s no surprise this list of Real Housewives memoirs needs an Angie Katsanevas-inspired scroll.

Oodles of housewives’ literature – from cookbooks to murder mysteries and children’s books – can be found on shelves, but not everyone has had the guts to write about their own lives, experiences, and memories.

Without further ado, here’s a comprehensive list of all of the Real Housewives who’ve published memoirs.

Real Housewives of New York

Carole Radziwill – What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love

Published in September 2005, Carole’s book chronicles her life growing up in a working-class town, her career as an ABC News journalist, and her marriage to Prince Anthony Radziwill, the son of Lee Bouvier Radziwill and nephew of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The core of the memoir focuses on the devastating summer of 1999, during which her closest friends, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, died in a tragic plane crash. Just three weeks later, her husband Anthony died from cancer.

Bethenny Frankel – A Place of Yes

While it’s not a traditional memoir, B’s work blends a biography with 10 self-help rules. Bethenny shares stories of her rocky childhood, career missteps, money struggles, and her rise to fame.

Ramona Singer – Life on the Ramona Coaster

Ramona’s 2015 tell-all memoir serves as an intimate, raw, and sometimes humorous look behind her “unfiltered” on-screen persona. Dive into Ramona’s life from her challenging childhood to reality television fame and entrepreneurial success.

Dorinda Medley – Make It Nice

Make It Nice follows Dorinda’s journey from the small town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, to her life in New York City and her famous Berkshires home, Blue Stone Manor. The book focuses on love, loss, resilience, and her famous rules for hosting.

Leah McSweeney – Chaos Theory

Chaos Theory: Finding Meaning in the Madness, One Bad Decision at a Time was released on April 5, 2022. The book utilizes the concept of chaos theory to find purpose in its memoir/self-help format.

Luann de Lesseps – Class with the Countess

Published in 2009, Class with the Countess: How to Live with Elegance and Flair is a fun lifestyle and etiquette guide that shares her personal life story and savvy advice on social graces.

Real Housewives of Atlanta

Nene Leakes – Never Make the Same Mistake Twice

Never Make the Same Mistake Twice: Lessons on Love and Life Learned the Hard Way is a 2009 biographical memoir by Nene Leakes. The book delivers a candid, no-nonsense look at her life before and during her rise to fame.

Real Housewives of New Jersey

Teresa Giudice – Turning the Tables

Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again is a memoir by Teresa Giudice. The book details her strict Italian upbringing, her rise to reality TV fame, and her federal prison sentence. She wrote it to clear her name and share her personal growth.

Danielle Staub – The Naked Truth

The Naked Truth: The Real Story Behind the Real Housewife of New Jersey by Danielle Staub was published in 2010. The memoir addresses Danielle’s tumultuous past, her criminal record, and the infamous tell-all book featured on the show.

Caroline Manzo – Let Me Tell You Something

Let Me Tell You Something is the title of the 2013 memoir and advice book written by Caroline Manzo.

The phrase itself is a direct nod to one of her most famous and iconic reality TV quotes from the show’s first season, where she fiercely confronted Danielle Staub to defend her family.

Margaret Josephs – Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget

Margaret’s memoir chronicles her transformation from a childhood of financial and emotional chaos into a confident reality TV personality and lifestyle entrepreneur. Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget: How To Survive In Business And Life serves as a guide for women navigating business while pulling back the curtain on her highly publicized personal life.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Brandi Glanville – Drinking and Tweeting & Drinking and Dating

Brandi’s memoirs dish on her dramatic divorce, late-night social media rants, and LA life as a single woman.

Erika Jayne – Pretty Mess

Pretty Mess is a 2018 memoir by Erika Girardi, known by her pop alter-ego, Erika Jayne. The book explores her journey from growing up in Georgia to her time on RHOBH and as an international dance music artist and DJ.

Yolanda Hadid – Believe Me

Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease is a 2017 memoir written by Yolanda Hadid alongside co-author Michele Bender. The book chronicles her severe, multi-year struggle with chronic Lyme disease (not Munchausen), uncovering a labyrinth of medical misdiagnoses and the devastating impact the illness had on her marriage, family, and identity.

Garcelle Beauvais – Love Me As I Am

Love Me As I Am is the 2022 memoir written by actress, television host, and former model Garcelle Beauvais alongside co-author Nicole E. Smith.

The book details her journey from her childhood in Haiti to her career milestones in Hollywood, her high-profile relationships, and her path to self-acceptance.

Here’s TOR’s review!

Lisa Rinna – You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It

Lisa Rinna’s first memoir is titled You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, published by Dey Street Books. The tell-all book delves into her Hollywood career, aging in showbiz, her marriage to Harry Hamlin, and behind-the-scenes drama from her time on Days of Our Lives and RHOBH.

Real Housewives of Potomac

Wendy Osefo – Tears of My Mother

This memoir explores the complex, intense relationship between Wendy and her mother, Iyom Susan Okuzu. The book highlights Wendy’s struggle to find her own voice and establish personal boundaries while balancing her deep gratitude for her mother’s sacrifices.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Heather Gay – Bad Mormon & Good Time Girl

Bad Mormon: A Memoir became an instant New York Times bestseller and explores her deeply personal journey from a devout, multi-generational member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to a single mother navigating life outside the faith.

Her second book, Good Time Girl, dives into Heather’s life after leaving the Mormon church, including being on reality TV, her experiences as an independent single mother, and features BTS stories from the show.
