Rachel Leviss accuses Vanderpump Rules star, Tom Sandoval, of “grooming” her into their Scandoval affair. During an episode of the Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, Rachel’s co-host brought up how Lala Kent “stuck up” for the former beauty pageant contestant by educating Sandoval on what “grooming” actually is and how she feels the karaoke enthusiast fits the bill.
Who groomed who?
Never forget, The Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner had the gall to yell HE was the impressionable one when Rachel jumped in his (and Ariana Madix‘s) pool naked during part one of the season 11 VPR reunion.
Rachel responded, “That may be true, although I didn’t take off all of my clothes. I’m talking about the moments leading up to this point. There was intention behind the way Tom really gave me undivided attention to want to know my situation and what was happening in my reality. Things were a little bit blurry. It was a gradual thing that took place where I started feeling more attracted to him.”
“We were talking about grooming, we’re talking about the events that led up to what Tom is bringing up at the reunion – me getting in the pool and us kissing. I’m not saying that Tom groomed me to be [his] victim. I can take responsibility for my part in that, too, because I was in a place seeking validation from somebody.” Also, “I felt safe around Tom and I enjoyed my time with him. I wasn’t someone who necessarily fell victim to him, but there was a big age gap. He also was aware of my situation and knew that I was very vulnerable. Tom is a manipulative person. Hands down. We can all see it.”
If there was ever a moment where Rachel said something with her whole damn chest, this was it. “There’s a term that psychologists use for what happened between Tom and I and it’s called ‘grooming.'”

- She wasn’t isolated, uneducated, powerless etc… she literally was hanging out with Ariana! Saying grooming is a disgrace to real victims
- Im sorry but as much as i can’t stand Lala, she was right! Tom did groom her, just the way he groomed Ariana. He kept Ariana from the group told Ariana that he was the only one who loved and cared about her, along with doing the same thing with Rachel.
- You were open to it you put it out there. You needed the validation especially from a lead on the show. If anything maybe you groomed him ?
