
Apollo Nida, who Bravo TV fans know as Phaedra Parks‘s ex-husband, was arrested after his current wife claimed he got physical with her. In Touch got an exclusive on the former Real HouseHusband of Atlantaย was arrested after Sherienย Almuftiย reported him to the police on March 11th.

Apollo’s arrest:
The police report said Sherien, listed as Sherien Copes, told officers “She had just came home from a bar with friends and had three alcoholic drinks. They started having a verbal argument about how ‘they were cheating on each other.’โ
Apollo’s wife alleged, “Apollo showed her a video of her kissing another man.”ย The report stated Apollo โpulled her by the hair and pushed by against a refrigerator.โ Then, there was a โshuffle.โ She said she ran outside and yelled for help. When Sherien went back into her home to get her phone, Apollo was gone.
According to authorities, Sherien showed them surveillance video of the verbal altercation. They also noted the video “did not show the physical altercation.” Apollo showed up to the home and spoke to officers. However, his story wasn’t consistent with what his wife reported.
He claimed that “while trying to take her phone, she balled up onto the ground to protect her phone, and Apollo said he took her phone.” Then, she ran outside to call for help but he came outside to give her back the phone. Officers said Sherien declined medical attention at the scene. There were not findings of any marks or bruises that indicated she was in a physical altercation.
Behind bars:
Apollo “was placed into custody and charged with domestic violence and simple assault. He was transported to the local jail and processed. Jail records obtained byย In Touch show Apollo posted a $3,000 bond.” The former RHOA personality was released hours after being booked.
Prosecutors charged Apollo with one misdemeanor count of simple battery โ family violence. A hearing took place last month. Court records do not indicate if Apollo entered a plea or has hired an attorney.
Sherien told the tabloid,ย โIt was a huge blow out between a married couple that has brought us much closer since then. We have worked through our issues and have been going to couples therapy. The end.โ
Criminal history:
In 2014, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud and identity theft. Apollo was facingย 30 years in prison, but came to a plea agreement after giving up the names of his accomplices. That deal reduced his sentence to eight years imprisonment and five years probation.”
Phaedra, who absolutely slayed on season 2 on The Traitors, filed for divorce while Apollo was locked up.
