Southern Charm‘s Patricia Altschul proved to be a crowd favorite at BravoCon 2025 thanks to her quick-witted response to Parker Posey using her as inspiration for her character on The White Lotus season 3.

After revealing that she watched the Thailand installment of Max’s popular dramedy, Patricia gave her review of Parker’s performance.
“She was judgmental and snarky and entitled. So I thought she nailed it!”
The live audience roared with applause for the star of Southern Charm. Miss Patricia, ma’am, YOU nailed it with that response.

In March, Parker Posey confirmed that her character’s accent on The White Lotus was inspired by Bravo TV‘s Southern Charm.
“It starts with the dialogue,” explained Parker. “There are such funny words like ‘tsuuunaaami’ [and] ‘Buddhism’” in the script. “When I was working on the Chris Guest movies, Chris and I would joke and go, ‘Noooooo, nooo. Piper, Noooo,’” in quirky southern accents.
Regarding the specificity of her accent on TWL, she credited a long-running Bravo reality show for inspo. “Of course, I love Southern women.”
“We all watch Southern Charm.”
The host interrupted, “The reality show?!” An enthusiastic Parker responded, “Yeah.” The House Of Yes actress concluded, “Being able to be this dramatic and funny is just so juicy and fun to do.”
