Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Monica Garcia made an anti-ICE statement and offered to help people in her community who are rightfully afraid of America’s masked Gestapo.
Monica, a second-generation American, stood up against the atrocities in MN:
“No matter how hard a narrative was pushed that I’m in fact not brown, I am. No matter how hard people like to pretend that I made up the last name ‘Garcia,’ I didn’t. It is my mother’s legal born name.”
“My grandpa, Emmanuel Garcia, and my grandma, Olivia Garcia, literally immigrated here off a boat. Onto American soil. So, my mother was first-generation American.”
“With all of that being said, I can’t even believe what we are seeing right now. Every single day, I’m just beside myself with what’s happening.”
Monica has time and resources to help:
“I’m currently unemployed. So, if anyone needs help, or if anyone is scared to leave their home to run errands or get groceries or do anything, please message me. I would love to help.”
“I have a ton of swaddles and blankets and things like that. If people need, I have a ton of stuff I can donate. I have kits that I make that I usually donate to the ICU. Please let me know. Please reach out to me if there’s anything I can do, any donations I can help with.”
“Any kind of errands I can run for people who are scared. Please reach out to me, even if I can say something that needs to be said on my platform. I just don’t know what to do.”
“I’m happy to run errands for people. Please message me. Thank you.”
