Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition‘s Melissa Gorga announced she is appearing on Gravesend, a show about an 1980s Italian crime family.
Gravesend’s official Instagram page posted a BTS video of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star who plays ‘Paula’ on the show’s upcoming third season.
Gravesend:
IMDB described Gravesend as “A 1980’s series of events revolving around Benny Zerletta (William DeMeo), a Brooklyn based Italian-American, soldier in the Colezzo crime family. Benny depicts the difficulties that he faces with family and growing up in the footsteps of his cousin, who behind closed doors was the leader of a criminal organization in GRAVESEND.”
I peeped the cast and it is full of Italian actors and actresses including Vincent Pastore (The Soprano’s ‘Big Pussy’) and Chazz Palminteri (The Usual Suspects and Bullets Over Broadway)!
Melissa’s on set experience:
“I can not believe I’m going to be on season 3 of Gravesend. I’ve watched seasons one and two. To think that I’m actually here on the set, meeting everybody, and interacting with them.”
Unlike RHONJ, Melissa noted how copacetic the cast is. “I can’t believe how much this whole group is like a family. Literally, they are amazing to work with.”
“It’s super exciting to just see it all go down and see all of these really great actors just do their thing.”
“For me, it’s the outfits, it’s the two piece sweatsuits, it’s the music, the hair, the makeup. Like, I literally grew up with two older sisters who always had the best teased hair.”
“I was young in the 80s, but I was living.” Melissa added, “I remember everything. I watch a lot of it for the whole, like, nostalgic of it all.”
She teased, “Tune in because you don’t want to miss ‘Paula.'”
Gravesend can be streamed on Tubi, Roku, or Amazon Prime.
