Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga thinks Kim De Paolo is responsible for the Strippergate rumor, not Teresa Giudice.
In an interview with Next Gen NYC‘s Gia Giudice, Melissa shared her Strippergate theory with her niece.
The rümor and the nastiness:
Gia brought up ‘Strippergate’ and how Melissa was set up.” Gia asked her Aunt, in retrospect, if she thinks her mom was behind that rumor, “Or do you feel that it was Kim D. and other people who just put her in an awful situation?”
“Listen,” began Melissa. “I think it was very obvious that it was not your mom, herself. She didn’t have this light bulb come up in her head.”
“But the group she was with at the time, Kim D., she somehow found this guy who used to work at the strip club.”
Melissa noted that Teresa “gets herself into these situations where she doesn’t realize how it’s going to look after. When it gets said, I don’t think she’s thinking, ‘Today is the day I’m bringing her down.’ But, that would happen a lot in those seasons.”
RHONJ fans had thoughts:
- She totally was sitting there waiting and wanting to take you down.. stop being nice about this!!! It was awful and she wanted you humiliated!
- Of course Teresa was behind it. And Melissa cant give that honest answer bc they’re “patching things up.” What a stupid interview to save face for Teresa
- Ohhhh yes she was sitting there saying “today is the day”. Even Stevie Wonder could see that
- They will always be family so she’s going lightly on that part and that’s good bc she’s talking to her niece. Respect always for keeping the kids out of adult situations. I’m glad they are together again.
- People put Teresa in awful situations!??? Please ..LITTLE GIRL 🙄
