Annemarie Wiley’s husband, Marcellus Wiley, allegedly threatened to kill the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality before his domestic violence arrest.
On Saturday, police were called on Marcellus after an alleged confrontation in Florida, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ.
Annemarie told officers she was scared of Marcellus. She requested that the retired NFL player be removed from their hotel room. The couple was in Orlando with their three children for a basketball tournament. Marcellus allegedly “used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek” in front of their 7-year-old daughter.
Marcellus, allegedly, has engaged in an “unreported history of violence towards Annemarie in the past.” He denied all claims against him.
While the athlete showed the authorities text messages between himself and Annemarie, he was still taken into custody on domestic violence battery charges. Marcellus was released from Orange County Jail after posting a $1,000 cash bond.
Us Weekly reported that a no-contact order was issued. Marcellus was ordered to remain at least 500 feet from Annemarie, their marital residence, and her place of work. Additionally, he has been forbidden from communicating with Annemarie. That includes oral communication, written communication, and communication through their children.
Marcellus cannot possess any weapons or firearms, but was permitted to travel back to California. While he must maintain a separate residence, he can return to their home once with a police escort to collect his belongings.
