Girls creator, writer, and star, Lena Dunham, has given the ‘Scandoval‘ saga a lot of thought, and she wants to dramatize the real-life cheating scandal.
Tom Sandoval‘s infamous affair with Rachel Leviss while in a decade-long relationship with Ariana Madix from season 10 of Vanderpump Rules deserves the Hollywood treatment, according to the (jokingly) self-proclaimed voice of Millennials.
Art imitating life:
Appearing on the Shut Up Evan podcast, Lena said that she felt “we should basically create like a mini movie. Actors [would] treat this as canon and get up and perform it with all the passion and virtuosity of Shakespeare.”
Lena even went so far as to contact Andy Cohen to pitch him the idea.” Her dream cast includes Adam Scott as Tom Sandoval and Jennifer Lawrence as Ariana. “I want to take these words and direct them like it’s really serious theater,” she said.
Iconic quotes like “Go f*ck yourself with a f*cking cheese grater, You’re disgusting, [and] You’re a dementor, I know you like Harry Potter” would certainly entertain the masses.
Ariana also wished the worst things that could happen to a person on Rachel. The Love Island USA host called Rachel “subhuman.” Even Andy confirmed Ariana’s claim that it was “diabolical” how it all went down.
