Lauren Manzo claps back at her cousin’s allegation that she didn’t help her retrieve her childhood belongings after the tumultuous split between her uncle and aunt.
Recently, Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Lexi Ioannou (daughter of Dina Manzo) opened up to Gia Giudice on her podcast about the longstanding rift in her famous family.
Lexi didn’t hold back as she recounted how, in the aftermath of her mom Dina’s split from Tommy Manzo (brother to Caroline Manzo’s husband, Albert), she lost irreplaceable childhood belongings—some of which allegedly ended up being sold in a garage sale.
According to Lexi, she hoped her cousins—specifically Lauren Manzo—would step in and help recover her things. But, as Lexi put it, “They disappointed me again.”
She explained to Gia:
“I’m sure if you ask them, they’ll say they did everything they could. But if you ask me, it wasn’t nearly enough.”
Naturally, fans began flooding Lauren Manzo’s comment section, demanding answers.
Lauren eventually clapped back in the comments, denying Lexi’s version of events and sharing her side:
“Because I don’t have access to them. I don’t have a relationship with my uncle & I was told I’m not welcome in the home to get things back,” Lauren explained.
“Was I supposed to break in? I was literally kicked out of a garage sale trying to get things back. So sick of people speaking on things they don’t know.”
Clearly, the family drama is far from over.
