Former Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has evolved in life, and thought the name of her podcast should reflect the change.
A new era:
The Give Them Lala podcast has rebranded to Untraditionally Lala. Her first guest was Ambyr Childers, the woman Lala’s ex was married to at the beginning of their relationship.
The episode description teased, “Lala is starting a new chapter and sharing why her life is anything but traditional, like her sister-wife bond with actress Ambyr Childers.”
Re-introducing Lala:
“We are back,” began The Valley personality to her listeners. “Normally, when you hear my voice, I say, ‘Hello, Gorgeous.’ But I’m like, ‘Is this still on-brand?'”
In an Instagram teaser, Lala joked, “I just wanted to shove myself down everybody’s throat, whether you like it or not. Give Them Lala just didn’t sit right anymore.”
Fighting back tears, Lala’s teaser continued, “I was given so many choices to still live the life that I just so desperately want to live.”

During an Amazon Live earlier this month, Lala admitted it’s taken her a while to figure out what’s next.
“It took a lot of time to find my footing—decide what I believe in, who I am—so I pumped the breaks on a lot of different things,” she shared.
Coming to terms with her “new normal” reaffirmed that she had outgrown the Give Them Lala persona.
“[Give Them Lala] felt juvenile. It represented a part of my life that no longer exists. It’s not going to exist ever again. We’ve grown out of it.”
