Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s son, KJ Biermann, pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges in his sexual battery and sodomy case.
Page Six reported that KJ’s legal team filed documents in Fulton County Superior Court on Monday. The teen’s lawyer told the judge overseeing the case that KJ entered a not-guilty plea to every charge in the Georgia grand jury indictment and waived his formal arraignment. It is currently scheduled for next Wednesday.
Jason Sheffield, KJ’s lawyer, also requested that a date be set for a hearing to transfer the case to Fulton County Juvenile Court. They want that done before the court sets pre-trial and trial dates in Superior Court.
“The judge granted the seal of the documents contained in three separate ‘envelopes,’ though details of the documents and envelopes were not disclosed in the filing.”
KJ, who appeared on RHOA and Don’t Be Tardy when he was a young kid, was arrested on Aug. 17 on charges of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment.
Later, inappropriate/illegal footage of KJ and a family member under the age of 12 was found on his phone.
Kim and Kroy’s son was released on bail after about a month behind bars. He posted a $200,000 bond to get released into Kim’s custody.
