Kim Zolciak-Biermann is setting the record straight when it comes to her custody situation with Kroy Biermann.
On April 3, TMZ published a report claiming the former RHOA star was ordered to complete therapy before seeing their four children — and allegedly failed to do so, resulting in the kids remaining in Kroy’s care.
But Kim isn’t letting that narrative fly.
She reposted the article to her Instagram Stories, writing, “I will absolutely not put up with these lies any longer.”
According to Kim, she signed a temporary custody order at the end of January requiring both parents to attend two counseling sessions per month for two months, followed by one session per month thereafter.
However, she says her schedule got in the way.
“I was out of the country from February 26 through March 28 due to contractual filming obligations on two separate productions,” Kim explained.
“During that time, I did not have a single day off, making it impossible to attend the required counseling sessions.”
Kim added that she plans to resume her parenting time once the children return from spring break with Kroy.
“For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor has there been any modification to the custody arrangement outside of the agreed-upon temporary order,” she clarified.
ICYMI: Kim and Kroy share four children together — KJ (14), Kash (13), and twins Kaia and Kane (12).
Kroy also adopted Kim’s older daughters, Brielle (29) and Ariana (24).
