Kenzie Annis opened up to fans about a recent health scare that landed her in the hospital.
The Season 8 Love Island USA star revealed she suffered a ruptured ovarian cyst while traveling from Los Angeles to New York for Fashion Week.
“I recently had to have an ovarian cyst removed from my left ovary. The cyst was 11 cm and ended up rupturing while I was on a flight from LA to New York for Fashion Week,” Kenzie wrote on Sept. 11.
“I was in an insane amount of pain and had to be rushed to the hospital as soon as I landed,” her caption continued.
Kenzie added that she had no idea she even had a cyst, let alone one that large.
As an overall “healthy” person, the unexpected rupture made the experience all the more scary.

Kenzie also encouraged women to listen to their bodies and get regular checkups.
“If something feels off, please don’t ignore it or brush it aside. You know your body better than anyone,” she added.
Now, the Peacock star is “ready to focus on healing and recovering.”
