Fans — and Katie herself — acknowledged the parallels between her marriage to Tom Schwartz and Amanda and Kyle’s relationship.
At the time, Katie called out Kyle’s habit of sleeping over at fans’ houses, saying the behavior crossed a line.
“Putting that kind of emotional strain, mental strain, on your partner is unforgivable,” she said back in December 2025.
